WAIT! WHERE THE HELL IS EVERYTHING?!!!!! >-<
STORY TIME!!! a long and treacherous journey began a little over a year ago today....
one cold autumn day, after years of standing on its last leg, my old ass laptop died on me, never to power on again. i figured changing the battery would save it, but to no avail. and at the time, i kind of though "WELL, I'M A PROFESSIONAL..." so i took the motherboard apart myself.
that ensured my laptop to never power on ever again.
that laptop contained ALL the original FAMILYHEIRLOOMS files; the coding, the countless folders full of the decor i was (and did, at least in my editor), going to use for the site. all gone, never to be found again.
i didn't ever back my files. i thought...psh, why would i ever do that?
this current page is the consequence of my actions.
at least right now.
as you can see, this page is kind of....underwhelming...well, after that whole ORDEAL happened, it totally discouraged me from coding for almost an entire year. it wasn't until around summer this year that i finally decided to bring FAMILYHEIRLOOMS back to life. but it wasn't easy, especially not after giving up coding. it was like learning how to walk again. this language was totally alien to me, and though i had a foggy grasp of the basics, the more colorful side of coding was completely lost on me.
this page you're looking at now was my attempt to rebuild what i had created back in my editor, where FAMILYHEIRLOOMS' full potential was ready to be shared with the world. but i never got to save that code, nor publish it to neocities' own editor. i had to rebuild from the scraps of what i could remember.
on the bright side, i have returned to dedicating most of my free time to FAMILYHEIRLOOMS as a project beginning about a week ago now! i am much more stronger in my coding skills thanks to my ABOUT ME page.
i thought, hm, i want people to have a VISUAL CONCEPT of what i'm like, who i am, and that gave me SO MUCH liberty to exercise my coding knowledge to it's maximum. i'm gladly still working on it, and it's an exceptional improvement to this webpage you're viewing.
once i feel like i've given my ABOUT ME page enough attention, i'll get to work giving the MASTER BEDROOM a makeover, full of navigation for all of your web browsing needs.
